This Saturday started out so weird! I went to Sonic for my breakfast and in the parking spot were these Canadian Geese. They were standing their ground and were not about to move for anyone or any car.
The carhop said they had been there about a week and wouldn't budge.
Anyway, on to other things.
The girls went to the beauty shop today for their first haircut - all three of them.
Laycee went first. They all three had never had their hair cut. The twins are 2 1/2 and Laynee is almost five.
Kaycee looks so cute with bangs and her hair out of her face. She has very thin and fine hair.
Laynee's hair is so long. So she got a trim and bangs also,
Precious little babies!!
Enjoy!
Judy
I'm thinking either the geese have babies in the area...or else they simply know where to hang out to get free food! I'm sure people throw them french fries and other leftover goodies. Your great-grandaughters are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteyour grands are adorable, Judy! Funny about the geese, I think they're hoping for treats. The Sonic near me used to have these little black kitties that would come to visit ever afternoon, they dubbed them the "Weiner Cats", because they would put out some hot dog rejects for them, too funny!
ReplyDeleteSweet little girls. Sounds like the geese want to nest in that parking lot.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mel. The geese probably have babies and/or get a good feeding. At the lake we NEVER feed the ducks, geese or swans. They will return to your dock or beach over and over whether you are there or not and can actually starve.
ReplyDeleteYour little babies are so darling. That first trip is so fun!!!

ReplyDeleteHow fun to get a new cut, did they enjoy the experience? I bet those geese were hanging out for some scraps to eat, lol.

ReplyDeleteThey are darling Judy. I think the geese have babies and that is why they are there. Very protective.

Well, one thing I do know about geese, Don't bug them, they will attack!! Glad you were able to get your food though. You little grands are adorable, Judy! Enjoy the week ahead. Blessings, Cindy xo

You are one very blessed G'ma!

Judy, that is so strange that you saw those geese in the parking lot and they wouldn't budge. They usually are very cautious. I see them sometimes at the trail, and they give out a loud 'HONKING' sound. Maybe they were protesting the day you saw them hahaha. The girls look so sweet getting their first haircuts. And I'm glad you got a picture of it to give them someday when they are all grown. That is priceless. :)

ps I wanted to tell you that I just bought the teal dresser at Target that you have. Can't wait to put it together and put Easter goodies on it.
Those three granddaughters are adorable with their new haircuts!
ReplyDeleteGeese are a stubborn lot....and they make a big mess, too!
The girls look so cute with their new do's! :) The first of I'm sure will be many hair cuts. Funny about the geese!
