St. Patrick's Day is next week. If you remember much about me, you know my birthday is March 17th. So, I am especially drawn to green St. Patrick's Day things. Not necessarily St. Patrick's Day but anything in the green category because I don't normally do much green!
This is part of my green collection which I seem to be adding to each year.
This is my newest collectible. I found this last Saturday at an Estate Sale. When I was a little girl, we had these collectibles and called them Storybook Dolls. Did you have any of them? This one was in the original box and is labeled "Melody Doll with Moving Eyes". I think she is quite a find.
I found some more interesting things that I will try to share with you soon. Tiffany (bless her heart) is taking next week off of work to, hopefully, help me finish up my move. We have other help coming so I am planning on being in my new home in the next week or so.
They tiled the floor in the hall bath today and should have it finished in the next day or so. It's looking so good.
I hated leaving my beautiful hydrangea bush but guess what? I have probably 4-5 at the new home.
There are also lots of pretty Spring flowers.
Hyacinths in every color. The rain has really beat them down but they are still standing.
My one and only (so far) Easter decoration is this darling set of rabbit ears that go down in the ground in the flower bed. You can see the rain splattered dirt on it too.
Bella is really ready to get this show on the road! She will be so glad when this is all done!
Me too!
Enjoy!
Judy
What a fun day for your birthday! Sounds like an exciting week! Wishing you a wonderful birthday and a good move, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda. Birthdays are getting to where they are not as much fun as they used to be. LOL But, what can you do?
DeleteThanks for dropping by.
Judy
Hi Judy ! Catching up with my fave bloggers! HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a little early). You and Bella will be settled at the new place soon :) oxox

Love your St Patty's collection! I need to add to mine as well. Have a great b-day!
ReplyDeleteI found quite a few green dishes also. Hope to share soon.
DeleteThanks for dropping by,
Judy
Fun to have a birthday that coincides with a holiday! I love all the green in the photos. Green is my favorite color, and maybe it's because we spend so much of the year looking at white. Love all the shamrocks in that first photo!
ReplyDeleteI love shamrocks also. Always get several for my birthday and my collection from last year have done very well still. Thanks for coming by.

Green in any shade is one of my favorite colors...and Happy Birthday to you next week! Isn't it fun to see what's already planted in your new yard??
ReplyDeleteI knew the yard had been landscaped and had lots of flowers before I bought it, but it was late October. So, I am enjoying watching everything pop up and turn green.

Happy Birthday!! Fun green treasures to go along with your "green" birthday on St.Paddy's day.

Hi Judy, great collection of green assembled in one place! I used to have that Longaberger St. Pat's basket and then sold it several years ago, now wishing I wouldn't have. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful birthday on the 17th!
Gina
Thanks Gina. I've never had much green but seem to always pull out a lot for March.

Your sure have some pretty green going on....Theres no green going on outside yet so it must be so nice to see some in your yard. Do you have a move in date yet? Happy Birthday early!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy. Lots of green going on here especially in the yards. I am hoping to be settled in the next couple of weeks.

I love all your St Paddy's collectibles Judy. And I wish you all the best in your new home. I cannot wait to get a tour of the whole house!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Arlene - I'm so ready to get in and do all of the fun stuff. Most of the furniture is there but I need to hang pictures, decorate, make curtains, etc. That's what I really do enjoy!

Your are all set for St. Paddy's Day and I can see why. Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteLove that tile--very up and up Keep up the great job!
Jane
Thanks Jane. I'm very pleased with the Travertine tile. They will grout tomorrow and then install the vintage vanity and marble around the tub. Do plumbing and they'll be done.

Happy Birthday Judy! May your move into your new home go smoothly. You've done a lot of work making it 'homey', now you get to enjoy it and your new gardens. There are some lovely blooms showing up already.

The Melody doll is perfect for your St. Pat's birthday. Glad you're almost ready to move in. Hope it goes well!
ReplyDeleteExciting move. I always enjoy seeing a picture of Bella - so many changes in her little life in the last year and a half.
ReplyDeleteI am very drawn to green also! What a fun day to have your birthday on!! Love the new doll and that red hair! I know you and Bella are ready to settle in! Soon!! Big Hugs,
ReplyDeleteLinda
Green is my favorite color so I really enjoyed this post, Judy. That doll is adorable with her red hair and shamrock sprinkled dress.
ReplyDeleteI need to go out to see if my hydrangea has shot up any green, yet!
Enjoy the weekend.
Hi Judy, Love all your green decor for St. Patrick's Day. That doll is so pretty. Love the tile. Looks like you are making lots of progress with the remodel. Your garden is coming along too. My hydrangeas are also greening up and I hope they do better then last year.
ReplyDeleteBella is always the sweetest!! Have a nice weekend. xo
I love your St Patrick's Day - and green - collections! I am missing green in my home. I used to have a green fireplace wall in my living room and then green accessories. When we had the living room repainted a few years ago, we went all neutral with the walls. And I was tired of green accessories, so I changed to aqua and turquoise colors. The other day I was looking at old pictures of my living room and I was thinking that I REALLY liked that green wall! I don't dare tell my hubby...he'd kill me! lol He knows how much I change things around. I think I'd better keep the shades of blue for a few more years. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour new tile is really pretty and those rabbit ears are adorable...xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove the tile...very pretty. Happy Birthday early!! My birthday is at the end of this month.

Your St. Patrick's Day greens are so pretty! Wishing you a very happy birthday on the 17th!
ReplyDeleteJudy, those rabbit ears are too cute hehehe. And I love your doll. I've always loved dolls, especially the cloth ones. The shamrocks on her dress are delightful. Your St. Patrick's Day decorations are pretty, and I didn't realize your birthday was so close to this holiday. Happy Birthday, dear Judy. I hope you have a splendid day.
