This beautiful tree is right outside of the sliding doors in my bedroom. The tree is just gorgeous. Can't wait until I get around to having a small deck built out there and just sit and watch the beauty in the back yard. So many pretty things.
The ground is beginning to be completely covered in all kinds if ground coverings and sweet blossoms.
Got the concrete bench that was at my parent's home and then my home and now moved to the new house. What memories that little bench brings back. Such a special piece.
My latest acquisition is this darling red and white gingham checked loveseat for my bedroom. I'm using it instead of the two small chairs which I'm putting in another room. This cute little loveseat is made by FlexSteel and I just love it.
The wooden piece is the side of a vintage bed that had been taken apart. Right now, I am thinking I will hang it above the window in my bedroom. It's a lovely piece.
Bella hasn't quite decided which area is going to be her hang out spot. So far, the dining room rug seems to be her favorite.
I'm working on stocking up my kitchen cabinets. The kitchen at the old house is completely empty. This new kitchen has quite a bit of storage.
And then - YIKES!! Look at my workroom. It is loaded with plastic bins to unload and put up. I really think they are multiplying overnight.
The tile is all done in the hall bath, the vanity with granite top is in and today the plumber was there to install all new fixtures. There is still work to do to adjust the drawers to fit the plumbing work. I can't wait to get it finished and show it to you.
Once again, I have nothing to say but good things about Mike Self at Marble Elegance. Each of the contractors are on time and do such fantastic jobs.
And they all clean up after themselves!!
Cox is coming on Friday to install phones, cable, internet and the security system. Then I will probably be pretty much permanently moved. Just to get all of those boxes unpacked and put up.
Am hoping to get everything out so I can help Tiffany paint the girls' room and start doing curtains and decor for them.
Enjoy!
Judy
Oh yes, forgot to mention, I bought a new swing set for the girls for a surprise. We started putting it together today and got quite a lot done. We also moved all of the outdoor and porch pieces.
WHEW!!
It's coming right along, won't be long now!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are one busy lady. I love your little sofa, and also that wooden piece that you are going to hang over your window. It will look GREAT.

That tree is absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait until everything really starts blooming around here. We only have some green shoots (lilies, daffodils) coming out of the ground. No flowers and no blooms on trees yet at all. As of yesterday, I am seeing robins all over the place, so I guess that's another good sign. Love your gingham love seat.
ReplyDeleteHope you are not working too hard and are finding time to rest in-between all this hard work!
Wow, the tree is beautiful. I love that wood piece and can't wait to see where it ends up. Sounds like great progress being made. You must be exhausted! At least I would be.
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, surely but slowly wins!! You are getting so much accomplished. Love the red gingham loveseat. The wood header is a great piece. Have a great week and don't forget to rest a bit!!

Wow your yard is blooming beautifully. We all have to have a room where we keep things while we get organized and have new construction done. You'll tackle it all when you have some time. Your place is looking fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun for you to see the plants and bulbs coming up in your new yard. We moved into our farmhouse in January and in the Spring I would walk about and be amazed at the flowers and bushes blooming! Come to find out a previous owner sold nursery stock here. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteThe tree is so pretty and I can see spring is coming to your house. I love flexsteel furniture. We have had them for years.

Hi Judy! Oh, your lawn and flower beds are looking so pretty! Everything is still as dead as a door knob here. What a cute love seat you've found. One day at a time, you'll get there. I'm thrilled for you and thanks for popping in to see me.
