and more.
Last Thursday, we had a horrible storm. These are all in my back yard. It is almost impossible to get someone to come cut them up and haul off with all of the damage in the city.
Have a great day!
Judy
I like random shots. :) The tray of salt and peppers is so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacey! Mom always had that platter sitting around. The S&P shakers changed but it was always there.

Fun peeks into your home :) I also like the tray of salts.
ReplyDeleteClean up from a storm isn't fun.
warmly,
deb
Thanks for dropping by Deb. Yes, Mom always had that platter full of mismatched shakers. So, it is a part of my childhood.

Love all the random shots. I also love that green depression dishes and glass ware.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had damage from the storm.
Mary
I like the random peek into your home. Love that unique flowered tea set. Who is it made by? I also spy a lot of beautiful vintage pottery in your cabinet!
ReplyDeletePS - I know your area gets bad storms. Sorry to hear you had one. Looks like you lost a lot of branches. What a mess! Hope you didn't lose power during the storm.
DeleteThanks Mel. I don't have any markings on the flowered tea set - it is just marked "made in Japan". I couldn't believe it was all there - complete with the lids. We lost power just long enough to mess up all of the clocks. Thank goodness. So many in Tulsa and surrounding areas were without electricity for days and days. I just had downed limbs.
DeleteHave a good week.
Judy
Your flowers are so pretty, Judy. And I really love the depression glass. I know how you love to thrift shop and these are so great!! :)
ReplyDeleteJane
Thanks Jane. Some of the flowers are still really pretty but a lot of them have dried up due to the intense heat. Love the green dishes too.
DeleteHave a good Wednesday.
Judy
I love the little cabinet made by a friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks. The little cabinet was made by the same friend who made my big Coca Cola wall clock. He's very talented.
DeleteJudy
I love that tea set and your green glass pieces.
ReplyDeleteThanks. The tea set is so sweet and has all of the pieces. Thanks for dropping by.

Such pretty glimpses of your life. I love the single salt shakers on the plate. Your plants are doing well even in the heat. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteThanks! A lot of the plants have died out due to the intense heat. Our heat factor today is suppose to be 105. UGH.
DeleteHave a good day.
Judy
Love looking around your home, my favorite is the cabinet with MANY drawers:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThanks Theresa. My friend can just take a picture and make anything.
DeleteHave a good day.

Love the cabinet and all the fun things inside. I love little things and it seems so do you! Love the tray of salts. I collect orphans and I have some lovely salts that would be so pretty on a tray! Hope you get the clean of your yard done soon.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda
Thanks Linda. My problem is that I like ALL things! LOL
DeleteHave a good day.

Oh Judy, your posts are simple, sweet, and filled with goodness. I just love that picture of the woman with her two daughters. Reminds me of my girls. And the green glassware is so pretty. I love looking at all the goodies that fill up your cabinet too. Many of them remind me of something I would have and cherish. Love the cherry bowl - did you know they are my very favorite fruit? It sounds like flowers and nature are important to you also, which is such a good thing.
ReplyDeleteYour posts make me smile, my friend. In a world of chaos right now, it's so nice to see your wonderful posts.
love, ~Sheri
Thanks sweet Sheri!

ReplyDeleteThanks sweet friend.

Hi Judy, you had a mess in your backyard didn't you. All of your photos are so pretty and I love your collection of depression glass and that little cabinet is precious..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a mess. City can't pick it all up until August 8th. But, at least, everyone in the neighborhood has the same bundle by the curb.
DeleteThanks for dropping by,
Judy
Your mismatched salt/pepper shakers are something I collect. I only have 5 of them, but when I see one at Good Will, or at the flea Market, it's like finding a treasure better than gold. I feel too, like I'm saving it, because it has no mate, which is sad. Two of mine are very similar to your Mother's. I can see why you treasure these. I love how you display them on your antique platter. I hope when I am no longer here, my two daughter-in-laws, or grand daughters will feel about mine, as you do about your Mom's, and will want them also. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bonnie! I didn't pick up stray shakers for a long time but now get them anytime I can.
DeleteHave a good weekend.
Judy
Judy,
ReplyDeleteGreat accessories around your house, dear friend!
Adorable tea set with such a unique creamer and sugar!
I, too, am obsessed with the green depression glassware.
My collection is much smaller than yours, but I did find a petite cake stand recently!
Sorry about your storm damage.
Fondly,
Pat
