Today's post is all about my precious Bella. If you don't like dogs, you definitely won't like this post today.l
Bella is a shelter dog adopted when she was about six months old. She is part Australian Shepherd and part Blue Heeler.
She was really John's dog but has done very well adapting to me as her sole owner.
Bella is so good with the little girls. Laynee is good about sharing with her.
Bella is always close by when the little ones are here.
They are so cute together.
They both love Cheetos.
She lets me dress her up for holidays but is not too happy about it!
Can you really blame her? LOL
And yes, she is very spoiled!! She sleeps anywhere she wants at any time.
What a blessing she has been and continues to be each and every day.
Love you Bella!
Judy
What a sweet dog. I loved this post. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura. She is a very special companion to me.
DeleteHave a good weekend.
Judy
Oh Judy, your Bella is so sweet! I love the photos of her with the girls!
ReplyDeletehugs!!
Thanks Linda. I have a small picnic table for the girls to eat on and you should see Bella when they are eating. She just sits there and drools and eventually one of them will slip her something to eat. She knows that they will. LOL

Oh Judy, Bella reminds me so much of my Lili. She also was a rescued dog. Bella is such a sweet good dog with the girls. Does she follow you around all day? Loved this post and pictures of your dear sweet Bella. How did she take to her new home?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and I hope it's not to hot for you.
Mary
Yes, Bella and Lili could be twins for sure! She does follow me around all day - every step I take. She and I go to Sonic drive in every morning for breakfast. We each eat a breakfast burrito. We don't even have to order. When we pull up, the cute little car hop just rings up the same thing every day. LOL She has adopted very well to the new home. It's really easy for me because I have sliding doors right off of my bedroom and that's where she goes outside. She's checked out all of the flower beds, et. When I had my storage shed built she kept getting underneath it so I put wiring around the bottom. Twice last week, I had to go pull her out. She had gotten under there and couldn't get out. She's a little on the chubby side.
DeleteHave a great weekend. We're looking at 105-110 heat factor so we'll be staying inside.
Thanks for dropping by and tell Lili that Bella says "woof".
Judy
Your Bella is so sweet. I had to laugh when I saw the pictures of her in her holiday outfits. In one she looks like she is rolling her eyes. Our little Fuzzy Pomeranian likes to wear his Halloween outfit, and a little Christmas sweater. He gets excited and wags his tail about them. One time, though, I thought it would be fun to put a big fluffy white toilet tissue bow around his neck. Now that was just one step too far for him, he shook his head, and clawed it right off. I tried to put it back on him and he would have none of it. Even he knew that bow was just downright ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteHe loves our six year old grandson, and from the very first appointed himself as our grand's number one protector and food share-er.
She does roll her eyes!! LOL She lets me put on the outfits but they last just about long enough to take a picture and that's it.
DeleteThanks for dropping by.
Judy
Sweet Bella! "Rescued" is the best breed! I just adore the costumes you make for that little cutie! My rescue, Roxie, allows the grandkids to decorate her with blankets and hats.
ReplyDeleteYour grandchildren are beautiful!
Isn't it amazing how they know to be gentle with the little ones? Bella just lays around when the girls are here and stays close to them. Course, she's always hoping they will drop food somewhere along the way.
DeleteThanks for dropping by.
Judy
Love your Bella. She reminds me of our Springer. Awesome sweet dogs.
ReplyDeleteThanks Debby - People who don't have dogs just don't know what they are missing.
DeleteThanks for visiting.
Judy
There is no doubt in my mind that she helped you thru the hard times after your sweetie passed....we have 2 dogs around here and I really love them both...they are house dogs (even Athena, great dane) in son's house..they both have a full sized futon PLUS pillows to sleep on...LOL
ReplyDeleteYes, dogs add a lot to our lives. I can't imagine people who have never had a pet of any kind. They miss out on so much. Course, we've kinda gone overboard spoiling Bella.
DeleteJudy
She's so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacey - she is a sweetheart and keeps me company so much.
DeleteJudy
Being a dog lover, I loved this post...and Bella is a wonderful dog!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda. Yes, she is wonderful. I cherish all of the time we spend together.
DeleteJudy
Wonderful friend to have! I miss mine.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ms. A. They become such a precious part of our lives that it is so hard when they are not around.
DeleteJudy
Bella is such a lovely dog, and she is such a great friend. Love how patient she is and so good with the little ones too. Hope you both keep cool during those high temperatures, Judy! Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteHelen xox
Thanks Helen. She is good and very protective of the little ones and me too. We hit 101 today with a heat index of 110. It was miserable. We might have rain next week with some cooler temps. Hope so.
DeleteThanks for visiting.
Judy
Bella has the sweetest face and looks so loving! I'm so glad that you have her in your life. Please be careful in that terrible heat. I wish we could share our cool, mountain weather with you. It got up to 86 today and everyone thought it was "sweltering". We sometimes have to put up with snow and ice in the winter, but it's worth it for the cool summers. Those Sonic breakfasts sound great. That's another thing we don't have here. Guess life is a trade off. God bless!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bev. She has been a real blessing to me. We hit 101 today with a heat index of 110. So, we sort hibernated inside today. But then, I don't like ice and snow so guess I have to endure the hot summers.
DeleteThanks for dropping by.
Judy
Bella is so sweet! My late husband and I had a blue tick hound and Bella reminds me of him. We got him from the pound also, and someone had named him Blue, we called him 'Blub'.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a sweet companion.
Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady
Thanks! She is a doll and so much company. Also very protective.
DeleteHave a great weekend.
Judy
Hi Judy and Bella, Love this post!! Bella is a darling!! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks! She is a delight and so much company.
DeleteHave a good weekend,
Judy
Thank you for the pictures of Bella. She looks much like the dog my son was given. She was his best friend through high school, college, and beyond. She took him through some difficult times.
ReplyDeleteIsn't amazing how our dogs can "read" us.
Oh my! Bella knows my every mood. If I am sick, she never leaves my bed. She knows when I'm getting dressed for church that she can't go and just watches. She knows if it's morning and we are going to Sonic, she goes and gets her leash and gets so excited. She is a blessing in every way.
DeleteThanks for visiting,
Judy
She's so precious! Thanks for starting my day with a smile.
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy. She is a real blessing and keeps me amused.
DeleteHave a good weekend.
Judy
Bella is adorable and what a blessing in our lives. Ginger is not too happy about being dressed up either but she looks so cute when she is . Dogs friendship is unwavering and so valuable in our likes.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should have a loving dog in their lives. Only if they give the dog the love they deserve. Bella has been a real blessing to me especially the last 18 months.
DeleteHave a good weekend.
Judy
I loved your post today.. Bella is a doll and so patient with the girls and her dressing up for the holiday photos! I adore my little dog, Buddy, too. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Teresa. Dogs are precious family members, aren't they?
DeleteHave a good weekend.
Judy
Well, that Bella is an adorable little sweetie! She's lucky to have YOU too!! Blessings, Cindy xo
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I love the expressions on her face -- you can exactly what she is thinking!
