Christmas in July Preview

A small preview of Christmas in July which is next week on my Etsy shop www.20northora.etsy.com
starting on July 21-27.

These are some of the Christmas stockings I have made.  Behind them is a Believe pillow in burlap.

More Christmas stockings in various colors and styles.  The pillow in the background is gray burlap with snowflakes in an all over print.  The poinsettia pillow has tiny gold beads hand sewn to some of the flowers.  The table runner is sprigs of holly and is edged with a deep red and white tiny polka dot. ruffle.

The two small printed pillows are reproduction fabric of vintage hankerchiefs.  In the center of the bench is one of the small Christmas wreaths made out of vintage children Christmas cards.  The garland on the bench is a very generous and fully gathered muslin garland.  This garland looks good in the Fall also.

The garland in this photo is made out of a vintage Christmas tablecloth and is attached to a red and white striped binding.

This is a large Christmas wreath made like my 4th of July one.  I used reproductions of vintage Christmas cards and most of them are Santas and small children.

Hope you are enticed by this preview and will be back on Monday for the start of the sale.  Different items will be added each day.

Enjoy!

Judy

  3. Everything is amazing! My favorites are the believe burlap pillow and the vintage Christmas card wreaths! I am a prim lover so the older looking the better for me. I feel I was born in the wrong era! I love old wooden boxes, old kitchen tools, old tool boxes, granite ware, old crocks, jugs, churns, vintage books, papers, cards, clothes, flags, well you get the picture. WE live in a home that was built in the 1930s. We have restored the original hardwood floors in the bedrooms, the living room, the sitting room, and the kitchen and the bathroom have ceramic tile in them. Got rid of the bright orange shag carpet that was in every room when we moved in in 1982!!! Pictures of the house then and now look so much different! Thank you for sharing all your finds and crafts with us!Thank you for being such a blessing and great friend to Brenda! I love to hear the tales of your adventures together!!
    Have a blessed week!
    Hugs,
    Lynn in NC

  19. Your Christmas items are gorgeous! With daily temps in the 90's and high humidity it's hard to think about Christmas so I will just enjoy your display until it cools off here.
