This week was an especially good week for treasures. Brenda took me out to lunch for my birthday and we hit a antique shop and I found lots of goodies. Then, Saturday at the Flea Market, was especially rewarding.
Starting out, I found these neat little wooden cut out letters for $1.00/each. I found every letter for 20 North Ora except for the 2. So, I'll have to try to persuade John into cutting me out a 2.
Wonderful booth of older fabric with great prices. Have you noticed all of the gingham has gone to a mixture of mostly synthetic and cotton? I don't like it at all. This is all the old time cotton (mostly) gingham.....
Something old and something new. Love the little aqua creamer with it's pretty flowers. The lotus bowls aren't old but they look so good with this.....
beautiful egg cups.....
this dainty, little china sugar bowl with gorgeous lid and spoon.....
some vintage little butter pats.....
love this old wooden box, and the blue rooster plate....
the box says West End Drug Store.....
a cute little Easter bunny holding a basket to put candy in, an unusual basket, another piece of vintage fabric and look at this darling puppy picture.......
two really nice ladles and a potato masher....
a Myott "Royal Mail" - a genuine hand engraving fine Staffordshire ware with all permanent colours made in England....
a gorgeous set of six painted saucers. I originally thought someone had hand painted them, but when I got home, they are stamped on the back J.P.L France......
and to conclude this great week - a piece of yellow McCoy. What a way to end the week!
In the next few weeks, I am going to start selling about all of my Saturday Treasures. I've got to clear out some so I can buy more. I will be listing a boxful at a time in no particular order. Let me know if there is anything you are interested in. It will be quite a bit of "stuff". I will be keeping some of the items but a lot of them have to go!
Enjoy!
Judy
You really hit the jackpot, Judy!

Judy you have found more great things! Yes sometimes its time to sell treasures so you can keep up the hunt! I'm sure there is something I want!! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteJudy, I love the egg cups. Are you going to sell them? I would love to buy them. We only have a flea market once a month here. Wish I lived closer to Tulsa. Take care
ReplyDeleteLook at all those goodies! Wonderful finds! I love the dog print and drug store box especially!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Judy. Love the rooster plate and the drug store box and the egg cups. Great addition to your fabric stash. Hugs.

Wow, Judy! Wow and Wow and Wow. You know that JPL/France saucers you found? When you get a chance do some research on the because I believe they are worth a LOT of money. My friend, the antique dealer had something similar and I think they were by Limoges(?). Anyway-they are fabulous and rare, I think! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteNice finds!
ReplyDeleteWas out Sat., but did not see any sales worth braking for.
Have a great week.

Oh I love the little sugar bowl and I that wood box , very good finds
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finds again, Judy but like you, I am weeding out! I just listed a bunch of vintage stuff on my FB page for sale. I will then list it on a couple of public FB sales pages (they're both based in the town I live in). I don't want to do eBay or etsy so I don't know what I'll do if these things don't sell. I might list them once on my blog and if worse comes to worst, I will just end up donating.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by,Judy. I love new company. I'm afraid I have been on break a long time...and a bit longer, but soooo glad I hopped over. I love your treasures, every one. While checking out your blog, I see you have precious baby grand-twins. What an awesome miracle.
ReplyDeleteI'm a twin but myself and brother weighed in at over 14 lbs. when born. My poor mother!
Do stop again. I hope to get busy here again soon. Now, I'm your newest follower. :)
oops! I tried following but it didn't work...will try again next time....I'm bummed~
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great group of treasures! Yes, I have noticed that a lot of fabric has a mix in it instead of simple cotton. I love the real dotted swiss, which seems to be getting quite rare. The bunny holding the basket is so cute. And I love the platter with all of it's beautiful colors. Great hunting!!
