I told you last week that I had been sewing and I really have. This is what my sofa looks like as I prepare to photograph and write descriptions for my Etsy shop.
Bella kinds growls everytime she walks into the Living Room because she really likes to lay on the couch and she has one of her blankets on it. But, she won't lay on it with all of these pillows atop it. I really can't say that I blame her. There could be an avalanche!
I bought 12 cases of Poly-Fil for stuffing my pillows and I don't know if you've ever bought it like this or not. But, it is compressed and when you untie the plastic bag and air hits it - it just grows and grows and grows. This is the box I have used for three days and probably done 25-30 pillows and it's still coming out of the top of the box.
Funny what amuses me! LOL
I have started listing on my Etsy. It definitely is going to take me a few days to get items all listed. But, I will be putting new items on real often.
Enjoy!
Judy
Wow! You have certainly been productive....that is a mountain of pillows. I spy some very pretty ones. Best of luck with the Etsy postings.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny - Bella growling and the box of polyfill growing. Reminds me of some mad scientist's laboratory. Bwahahahaha. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! You have been a busy girl: Love all those pillows. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds exciting, Judy! I hope Bella forgives you!

ReplyDeleteWow, I never knew poly-fil came like that. You're sure up to your eyeballs with beautiful pillows. I'm sure Bella will be happy to have her space back as soon as your pillows find new homes.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny about the polyfill.
ReplyDeletePoor Bella. Now, I know why I haven't heard from.you, hah. Just let me know when you need my money.

Judy, our Mothers of Preschoolers Theme last year was A Beautiful Mess. Well that is what I thought of when I saw your sofa. It truly looks beautiful and I admire your skillfulness in making so many pillows.
ReplyDeleteAwesome collection of hard work! Enjoy your day dear Judy and don't work too hard! HUGS!
ReplyDeletelook at all those pillows, so your 10 lb's of poly fill turned in a boat load ? LOL
ReplyDeleteWow, Judy...you have been one busy lady! That is really funny about the Poly-fil. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove to see your beautiful pillows Judy. I cannot wait to see them up and listed. Looks like some pretty fabrics.
ReplyDeleteHa ha too funny the poly fill!!!
Kris
wow. You've been busy. Happy selling! : ) have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteYou have been a busy pillow making machine! That poly fil is funny, when I was reading it I was thinking about a air balloon in a car filling up the space. Wasn't there also a skit Carole Burnett did about a rubber raft blowing up? You make me feels so lazy, I'm not getting done anywhere near as much as you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of pretty pillows...and I giggled at your stuffing coming out the top of the box....too cute, Judy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a big pile of lovely! I'm envisioning an avalanche of stuffing coming out of the box, overtaking the house, running down the street... magic :-)

Wow have you been busy, they all look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative, Judy! I know you'll do well with your pillows!
ReplyDeleteWonder if maybe she is also growling at the run away stuffing.
ReplyDeleteI dare say you are one of the only people that has more fabric then I used to have...I gave most of mine away when we moved. To a very happy lady, who is probably still sewing.
What gorgeous pillows...there are some that I wish I had the space for, they are so tempting.

I remember one Christmas the grands and I had a snowball battle inside the house with filling :)
